ASOC Online: Learn About Schools

In this Autism Society Orange County (ASOC) webinar, we explore educational, vocational, and support services available to autistic individuals and their families.

Dr. Karly Marriott, Vice President of Programs and Services, and Hannah Aguirre, Coordinator of Marketing & Events, introduce Linden Oaks, a nonprofit organization and non-public school serving children and families in Southern California. They discuss the organization’s comprehensive services, including parent support, in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) services, and special education programs.

The webinar also features Judith Quezada, Job Developer with Disabled Students Programs and Services (DSPS) at Coastline College. Judith provides an overview of two innovative educational programs:

• COAST (College to Career Opportunities and Skills Training) – A vocational training program designed to teach employability and workplace readiness skills, helping students successfully transition into employment.
• ID Program – Specialized educational courses and support services designed for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities who benefit from individualized instruction and accommodations.
