Would you like to:

  • Feel more comfortable speaking?
  • Learn better communication skills?
  • Improve your social skills?
  • Build self-confidence?
  • Make new friends?

If you are an adult, age 18 and over, who has been diagnosed with Autism, you are invited to participate in a unique Toastmasters International Gavel Club that has been established for this community and is sponsored by the Orange Country Asperger’s Support Group (ASOC).

Toastmasters International is a global nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people improve their public speaking, communication, and leadership skills. Through local club meetings, members practice giving speeches, providing feedback, and taking on leadership roles in a supportive and structured environment. Founded in 1924, Toastmasters has clubs in over 140 countries and is widely recognized for its proven, self-paced learning approach.

We meet once a month on selected Saturdays at 9:30AM ONLINE.

Research: The ASOC Gavel Club has been the focus of an Organization for Autism Research (OAR) Study conducted by Dr. Sasha Zeedyk of California State University, Fullerton and Dr. Yasamin Boulourian of UCLA.
