Dr. Bautista has spent 33 years teaching and administering adult education programs affiliated with K-12 school districts. She was principal of Inland Career Education Center and Irvine Adult School before coming to North Orange Continuing Education (NOCE) where she is the Vice President of Instruction. Her education includes a doctorate in Educational Technology and Leadership, a master’s degree in teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, and clear credentials in administration and teaching. She serves on the statewide CALPRO Professional Development Committee, evaluates professional development plans, and teaches the Effective Teaching for Adults training. Her passion is creating programs for students who have challenges by providing innovative services and support. Dr. Bautista regularly presents at state and national conferences, most recently presenting at the 2024 Coalition on Adult Basic Education (COABE) national conference on Finding Partners and Building a True Collaboration.
