Rays of Funshine, Inc. is a nonprofit organization based in Corona, California, dedicated to providing low-cost or no-cost autism services to families in need. Their offerings include behavior intervention, in-school advocacy, parent training, educational support, and assistance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Founded by Lella Hoang and Dana Umbarger, who bring over 30 years of combined experience in both public and private sectors, the organization utilizes Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) and Cognitive and Clinical Psychology methodologies to support children with autism and related developmental challenges.
Services offered:
- Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) based clinic that practices several forms of ABA. These include:
- Discrete Trial Training (DTT)
- Pivotal Response Training (PRT)
- Natural Environment Training (NET)
Staff members are also experienced in incorporating strategies such as Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), visual schedules, reinforcement schedules, sensory diets, fine motor, gross motor, cognitive modification, functional life skills and more.
