Sunday, August 3 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM – Parents Ask the Experts with Dr. Gantman: You are invited to attend a Parent’s Sessions led by Autism expert, Psychologist Dr. Alex Gantman, which will focus on the increasingly difficult issues that arise as children with level-a autism (previously called Asperger’s, HFA or PDD-NOS) travel from teenage years to adulthood. College and employment are the tip of the iceberg. Lack of social relationships and a tendency to shut themselves up in their rooms playing computer games are common battlegrounds.
