The ASOC Dungeon and Dragons Group journey continues. The cost is $15 per person and food and drink will be served. All participants must be dues-paying ASOC Members. Note that there are three sessions: 12-1:30 pm (Teens), 1:45-3:15 pm (Adult-Group 1); 3:30-5:00 pm (Adult-Group 2).

Saturday, April 12 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM- ASOC Toastmaster Gavel Club. Learn communication, public speaking and leadership skills, while having fun and making friends! Individuals eligible to participate are ASOC adult members and prospective adult members with Asperger’s Syndrome, High Functioning Autism or PDD-NOS, and who are ages 18 or over. Family and friends ages 18 or over are also welcome to join! There will be a one-time materials fee of $26.

Please join us for a social discussion with Lisa Jacovsky.  This activity is exclusively for members of the ASOC Friends and Fun Program and is by invitation only.

Sunday, April 13 from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM – Friends and Fun for Teens Social Discussion: ASOC Friends and Fun program is a comprehensive social program for teens. Monday, April 14 from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM – ASOC Online: Neurodiversity@Work 2025: For the sixth year in a row, ASOC invites leaders in the Neurodiversity@Work movement.  ASOC will be providing an update on the exciting programs and activities designed to increase employment and job satisfaction for those on the Spectrum. Join Jessica Lee, founder of NeuroTalent Works, Rebecca Beam, founder and CEO of Zavikon, Hilary Kokenda, co-founder and COO of Zavikon, and Judi Uttal, president of The Autism Society Orange County (ASOC) as they share their personal journeys and provide insight on how you can make a difference.

Saturday, April 19 from 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM – ASOC Friends and Fun Game Night Exclusively for Friends and Fun Member we will hosting a game night at an Irvine Park. This activity is exclusively for members of the ASOC Friends and Fun Program and is by invitation only.

Sunday, April 20 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM – ASOC Gathering at Chase Coffee Roasters. Join us at the Chase Coffee Roasters in Fullerton for a casual get-together. Play UNO, eat a snack, or chat. Please feel free to bring your own favorite board or card game. This event is open to all ASOC Families. Please note that ASOC is for teens, adults, and their families. We currently do not have programming for younger children.

Saturday, April 26 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM – ASOC Partner Book Club. ASOC’s wonderful
support group for spouses, partners, and significant others of individuals with high-functioning Autism and Asperger’s is offering a book club. These sessions will be facilitated by coach and author, Kealah Parkinson. During each meeting we will work together through a chapter of her book, sharing experiences and lessons-learned. You do not need to have previously attended a partner group meeting to attend. The price is $20 per person.

Sunday, April 27 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM – Ask the Expert with Dr. Gantman: The Parent Sessions will focus on the increasingly difficult issues that arise as children with Level 1 Autism (Previously Called, Asperger’s, HFA or PDD-NOS) reach adulthood. College and employment are the tip of the iceberg. Lack of social relationships and a tendency to shut themselves up in their rooms playing computer games are common battlegrounds. These challenges and more will be addressed in small group settings. The fee is $20 for members and $30 for non-members.

Monday, April 28 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM – ASOC Virtual Support Group Meeting.
This meeting provides an opportunity to interact with other ASOC members about the challenges we are all facing as part of the ASD community. Know that we are here for each other. We have separate meetings for adults on the spectrum and parents.
